Utility Models

Utility models are technical property rights examined by the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) only for compliance with formal requirements. Utility models are registered for products and devices. They are also referred to as "small patents". Utility models are a way to quickly obtain a registered technical property right. In the past, we have also conducted cancellation proceedings against utility models. If necessary, we can also carry out the necessary prior art searches.
